tried opening these files with gedit / sudo gedit etc i get error
messages , tried the less command and that too gives me error
messages.

In case you are wondering why i am curious, its because i want to know
how come some software can fool an OS (in this case linux) into
believing something that it is not. Is there a chance for malware to
be loaded on to be exploited ??
