1. What kind of Ubuntu Install have you done (is it from within
windows using WUBI or a full fledged proper install)
2. What version of Openoffice are you running
3. How is the zip file connected to your using open office. Were you
trying to open the zip file with Open Office ??

If openoffice cannot find a file it should give an error and move on.

Am trying to get to the correct problem which i guess will get us to a
better solution
