1. Did it ever connect to the network
2. Are you sure the password is correct

to to edit wireless connections by right clicking on the network icon

In front of the  name of the connection add Auto "foo name "

There is no logic for this but recently i had the same issue after
upgrading a 9.10 to a 10.04 - upgrading over the net.

The OS lost the ability to connect to a specific network. I tried
everything and just adding the Auto worked, for some reason.

If you are a long time list member - just search in the List mails for
a similar network issue which happened to 9.10 (or was it 9.04) the
one of the ways it was resolved was by using an alternative Network
Manager, if i can find the message will post.
