After seeing TV's reply - Karthick, was your query about those problem while using in MS Windows or in Ubuntu Linux or any other OS. I ask this because TV's reply appears to be meant for Windows users.
If it is Ubuntu Linux, for starter, please tell about the following: 1. Which version of Ubuntu (or Kubuntu or Xubuntu)? 2. What Desktop (DTE) you use - GNOME, KDE, xFce..? 3. Do you use with locale environmental variables set to english (such as en_US.UTF-8 ) or tamil (such as ta_IN or ta_LK or...) ? If you are not sure about this just enter the following command "locale" on a terminal (without the quote symbols of course) and copy the results and show us. ~Sethu -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: [உபுண்டு_தமிழ்]query From: Tirumurti Vasudevan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: ubuntu-l10n-tam@lists.ubuntu.com Date: Sat Aug 30 2008 19:53:39 GMT+0530 (IST) > you must have unicode set and enabled. > and of course you need the unicode tamil fonts. > > > On Sat, Aug 30, 2008 at 3:11 PM, Karthick B <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > >> Hi, >> I have two queries. >> 1.
