I think introducing a maintainer lock would be a bad idea. If the idea is that there should be someone caring about packages so they don't bitrot - thats fine and good - but calling it Maintainer will confuse those of us that are DD's quite a lot. -Rob -- GPG key available at: <http://www.robertcollins.net/keys.txt>.
