Let me make a quick note on this. I tested in a VM that I gave 4 vCPUs, 50GB disk, and 2GB RAM. This error seems to just be one of those warning messages that doesn't really break the program at all, so from a bug triage perspective this is a "Low" (Ubuntu Bug Triage importance), or "Minor" (Debian BTS importance), bug importance.
I'm not sure this actually needs fixing, unless it gets fixed alongside some other problem issues that would show up, as the program continues to work as intended and works fine, installing software correctly. (I tested with my own packages' installation from my local, private repository, and the nginx team's PPA installation, and Synaptic functioned fine in 14.04). ------ Thomas LP: ~teward On Sat, May 10, 2014 at 3:30 AM, Alberto Salvia Novella <es204904...@gmail.com> wrote: > El 10/05/14 01:50, mrchmod escribió: > >> (synaptic:27257): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_child_watch_add_full: assertion >> 'pid > 0' failed > > > Note that the faster way we can help people on potential bugs is by using > ubuntu-bug (http://tinyurl.com/kaxuoht). > > This is because: > - We have technical details about the issue. > - We can prioritize work items. > > > > > -- > Ubuntu-quality mailing list > Ubuntu-quality@lists.ubuntu.com > Modify settings or unsubscribe at: > https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-quality -- Ubuntu-quality mailing list Ubuntu-quality@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-quality
