It seems that the only differences the ubuntu packages had with the debian packages are the security vulnerabilities and the likewise-open patch. The former are included in debian (1.6.dfsg.4~beta1-13). For the latter IIUC 1.7 has the same functionality available and the plan was to port likewise-open to use the 1.7 code instead of their own code.
So it seems that at this point we can just sync the version from debian since none of the Ubuntu changes are necessary anymore. Rebuilding all necessary packages in the Ubuntu archive needs to be then performed. Doing this as early as possible in the cycle is probably the best option. -- Please merge krb5 1.7dfsg~beta1-3 (main) from Debian unstable (main) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/371765 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to krb5 in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
