I would enjoy hearing an explanation... How can prolonging a format war and the added consumer confusion that came with it be helpful to Linux?
More importantly, I have a BD-ROM drive on my computer, which runs on Ubuntu Studio 90% of the time. How would HD-DVD possibly be beneficial to me? I'm selfish. Therefore, I don't much care about formats that I can't use. Petitions won't save HD-DVD. Toshiba is just about to give up. It's over. -Tim On Thu, Feb 14, 2008 at 9:26 AM, Icy EyeG <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi all. > There's a petition to save HDDVD at > http://www.youchoose.net/campaign/save_hd_dvd_format > I sending this here, because I honestly believe that the competition > between 2 formats can help HD implementation on Linux. > > -- > Ubuntu-Studio-users mailing list > Ubuntu-Studio-users@lists.ubuntu.com > Modify settings or unsubscribe at: > https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-studio-users > >
