Hi, I'm starting to look for a new laptop.
I'd like to pick something that will run UB Studio (and possibly have a firewire port that will support ffado (I'm assuming the TI chipset it is still the best option?)) That said, anyone want to recommend their favorite? I've heard mostly positive about the System 76 laptops, but they do have detractors. I've run it on my Dell for years, but it has the old Ricoh firewire chipset and is useless for ffado. Thoughts? Regards, Mac
