Are you using proprietary graphics drivers? Which package? Might be you are missing kernel headers (normally, you wouldn't) in order for the drivers to build. Each time you update to a new kernel, and if you have proprietary drivers installed, a kernel module needs to be built for that driver (using dkms). /Kaj > Is there a way to use the latest kernels and still get a GUI, or is > there a problem with my Ubuntu Studio that needs fixing? > > > David King > -- > ubuntu-studio-users mailing list > ubuntu-studio-users@lists.ubuntu.com > Modify settings or unsubscribe at: > https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-studio-users -- ubuntu-studio-users mailing list ubuntu-studio-users@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-studio-users
