Sorry, actually got that confused.
I thought that Cadence was meant here, all the C-names make it hard to remember
which program is which one. ;)
I haven't used Carla personally yet, but I believe it works like a patchbay for
Jack plugins. It seems rather powerful and it could even bridge Wine software
afaik, but I do not think it can configure the Jack server itself, so you would
use both Ubuntu Studio Controls (or QjackCtl) for your setup + Carla for your
plugins and patching.
