Hello Hannie, for the last question. I have my Ubuntu in Occitan but as soon as the installer set your timezone to France it download the French language pack too. So like you I have this language pack by defaut. In the menu for languages after installation, you may still have in the "Regional format" tab "French (France)", that's why your system has 3 languages.

Difference Ubuntu Software / Gnome Software: US also has strings for Flatpack, Snaps and rpm-ostree. When I search for e.g. Books and References in [1], I get no results. But how come I see this (untranslated) in Categorieën (Dutch) in my Ubuntu Software application? I hope I haven't made this too complicated. Please let me know if you need further information.
