Hi everyone

I'd like to put myself forward to be our UKTeam LoCo team contact, as
we don't currently have one.

I'd like to think I've already been fulfilling a lot of the roles
described at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LoCoTeamContact. I follow the
loco-contacts, ubuntu-news and ubuntu-announce lists. I've been
trying to encourage everyone to take an active part in developing
UKTeam by working on our wiki pages (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UKTeam).
I've also tried to help make us a "doing" team as much as a "talking"
team, by contributing to discussions that might otherwise reach
stale-mate (eg the multi-thread "support points" discussion, which I
brought on to the wiki at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UKTeam/GetUbuntu.

I'm also co-leading Software Freedom Day's Team Cardiff.

I'm quite happy to "step down gracefully" - as it says on the wiki -
if someone else comes along in the future who is better placed to be
our team contact.

So please share your thoughts on this, if you'd like/not like me to be
team contact, or if you'd like to do it yourself. But I hope you'll
say me :-P.

I would like to second that
