Why sudo su - I thought that sudo by itself was root. I did what I
thought was right and got this:-

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo rmmod snd-hda-intel
Password:
ERROR: Module snd_hda_intel is in use
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo modprobe snd-hda-intel probe_mask=8 model=auto
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$

However, there was still no audio.
