As long as you searched for it and found it using that it should
automatically install all the dependencies.

What I could suggest is open the terminal and type "sudo apt-get install -f"
which will fix any dependency errors you are having.

I used the Synaptic package manger to find and install...... I'm new to all
this
debian stuff not sure if that is using apt-get or not....do you think that's
where the problem lies?
