Heh. Yeah, I used to do that too. On the spectrums I'd do RANDOMIZE USR 1331 Which gives nice pretty blue and purple 'loading' bars and a satisfying squeal. Speaking of sabotage, at UDS someone walked out of a room and left their laptop unlocked with a root propt open.
