Communication requires that all parties understand a common language that is exchanged. It is not a pointless battle to stand up and say I believe in something. This list would not work without a common language together with some form of structure, whether written or not, and people who believe in what they are doing. By standing up for the things you believe in helps set and reassert the standard. By giving in, you are agreeing with the drop in standards. The excuse for top posting is surely nothing but ignorance and, as such, can quite simply be resolved by highlighting the fact. Lack of comment equals lack of influence - the consequence of which is chaos!
