I just used a service called www.google.com and searched for 'burn mpg to dvd ubuntu' and to my surprise the first result is this Ubuntu forum post http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=53486 with information about burning a mpg to DVD in Ubuntu. I am sure if a 'Google search term' was altered you might find more information. The internet is an amazing place :) Regards Colin
