I've went with the 64bit on my desktop this time round and so far it's all good. Although I'll re-instaling flash tonight after Jonathons comment.
My grand plan was to ditch both virtualbox and vm server 2 and give KVM a try. I like the idea of being able to migrate machines between my server and the my desktop. Plus apt will handle all the upgrades .
