This is true, yes. It's what I did on Precise & Raring. Since then, on my desktop I switched to Mac OS X and on my laptop to Xubuntu (as it works with my now-unsupported AMD RV620 GPU, which Unity does not.) I am trying the alphas of Saucy with Mir on the notebook to see if I might be able to switch back to mainline Ubuntu post-13.10-release. (I'll probably switch back on the desktop as well, if OS X 10.8 or 10.9 don't do it for me. I'm encountering some unexpected limitations in OS X 10.6 and I'm currently debating if retaining PPC app support is worth it.) Even so, this is a /major/ bug, workaround or no workaround. -- Liam Proven • Profile: http://lproven.livejournal.com/profile Email: lpro...@cix.co.uk • GMail/G+/Twitter/Flickr/Facebook: lproven MSN: lpro...@hotmail.com • Skype/AIM/Yahoo/LinkedIn: liamproven Tel: +44 20-8685-0498 • Cell: +44 7939-087884 -- ubuntu-uk@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-uk https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UKTeam/
