Thanks - that's simple, when used w/out the "set" statement.
Just testing for now, so changing it each time I log on is O.K.  l'll make
it more permanent once it all works.
Currently down in the weather, so not going to be able to make it to this
evenings Ubuntu hour. :-(

I'll try dropping the "set", once I'm feeling a little better.  Thanks for
your help.
