Hello Bryce, acually it does not cause any significant problems right now.
However, back then when the TVout quirks were collected and implemented, it was the general consensus to not present the user any outputs that are not existing. That said, if it was decided to drop the TVout quirks altogether I respect that decision and would withdraw this bugreport. If the quirks are still there and just my hardware dropped from that list, I'd regard this as a bug and would like to have my hardware re-added. ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- intel driver seems to have lost tv output quirk https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/398183 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
