I'm running stock x64_64 12.04 and am affected by this. I reverted to 290.10 and the crashes stop but now flash videos have a blue tint (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/adobe- flashplugin/+bug/967091). I have the blue tint issue in 11.10 as well.
