I wonder if a clean install of ubuntu and ubuntu video driver install
just for testing is really needed? I think my current installation is
better suited for testing, as it got all the packaging software needed
to test the Amd site driver ubuntu deb generator, the general amd site
driver install and the jockey driver; the current install is also fully
updated(update of 260mb).

I'm properly purging the proprietary video driver before any different
driver install for some time, as mentioned here(thought the results are
the same):

Let me know of anything I can do to speed the fixing of this issue
