I believe it's due to my fast changes (keep on pushing brightness hotkeys) on starting-up time. 1) If I do it slowly, wait until it changes (circa 0.5s - 2s), and I press down the button again, until it reduces to the minimum. 2) The walk-around above, however, also fails if I directly slide the button to the left end.
The questions is, how to save the current brightness as default so that next time when I start it, I don't need to change it everytime? I tried many solutions in the web, none works. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-evdev in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1007407 Title: Brightness hotkey invokes corrupted screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-evdev/+bug/1007407/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
