This has just started happening to me today after I updated software. Linux maggie 3.5.0-26-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Fri Mar 8 23:18:20 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux on an Asus UX31E notebook.
