Penalver Hi Christopher, thanks for your support! I didn't know Quantal reached EOL. How do I upgrade to Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Trusty Tahr? (4th record from current list on wiki) Warning: I can't open secured http-websites. But I'll be happy if you e-mail me the install-code, I can work a little bit with the terminal screen. Thanks in advance, Raisa
It is strongly recommended you immediately backup your data, and do a fresh reinstall via http://releases.ubuntu.com/trusty/ . It sounds like your machine is either suffering from critical software errors, or your machine is compromised. Upgrading would not be a great idea in this case. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1413201 Title: date setted to 1970 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1413201/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
