Yeah, and that's precisely what's ridiculous: discouraging dual boot. It's like not recommendiung the use of laptops, or that of an external keyboard, or some given screen resolutions.
Ubuntu should struggle to better support all normal use scenarios, rather than picking those where it doesn't work well and say you are "strongly advised not to do it". At this point I'd suggest updating the documentation to state that you're strongly advised not to use Ubuntu. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1453742 Title: xorg started to systematically crash after every suspend/resume To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1453742/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
