Same issues as above (heavy mouse flickering on redraws/video play plus occasional mouse vanishing) while using 3 monitors (one on intel iGPU, 2 on R6450). Flickering confined to Radeon monitors. Ubuntu 15.04 + Unity.
Investigated workarounds and seem to have stumbled onto one that at least fixes the flickering (but not vanishing). While suspecting the choice of intel/amd acceleration support I tried: Installed the following packages: mesa-vdpau-drivers (10.5.9-2ubuntu1~vivid2) No immediate improvement. Reinstalled the following packages: libdrm-radeon1 (2.4.60-2) libdrm-radeon1:i386 (2.4.60-2) Again no immediate improvement BUT after a reboot the flickering stopped.
