It took a considerable amount of searching but the sna vs uxa issue does have at least two upstream bug reports:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1226531 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1226743 I believe that should be sufficient. It's a known issue. I'll have to look at these newer (proposed) kernel changelogs to see if I can figure what exactly they changed. ** Bug watch added: Red Hat Bugzilla #1226531 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1226531 ** Bug watch added: Red Hat Bugzilla #1226743 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1226743 ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed ** Tags added: linux -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1507255 Title: Garbled graphics in Wily with Intel GMA4500 chip To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hundredpapercuts/+bug/1507255/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
