** Description changed:

  After installing nvidia-current and by default the nvidia-prime drivers
  I am unable to login.
  
  Originally posted on the ubuntu forums which one of the veterans
  specified that it's "above his skill set". Considering this issues has
  happened to me every time I've tried to install drivers (wiped the disk
  and reinstalled three times) I'd like to elevate this for further
  examination.

  3 - I expected to login to the desktop.
  
  4 - I can see the login screen but am unable to proceed beyond it. The
  xorg log in my link is not promising.
