I can confirm this bug for Karmic RC. I've tracked down this problem to a patch in intel driver 2.9.0. It's just a one-liner that must be reverted. I've reported this problem at freedesktop.org: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24726
