When I try to boot with the driver I just created, the system hangs after the mouse cursor first appears, in a manner similar to that described in Bug #508456:
At the point at which the system freezes, the initial rotating cursor has appeared, and then has just turned into a pointer. This is slightly different from Bug #508456, in which it freezes about 2 seconds after the rotating cursor appears. Also, that problem hasn't occurred for the standard build of the system for about a week. So this may be a slightly different problem. -- [K8M800] Screen origin shifted to center, screen wraps, ttyN screens don't work, on Averatec 3280 running Lucid with openchrome driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/495553 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-openchrome in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
