Disabling ACPI didn't help. Using an older kernel (the 2.6.32-22 linked above) the computer works correctly, without freezing just because it is in battery mode. Don't know how to proceed from there. Are there other kernels to test to determine what the cause is? Someone knows what can be causing this? It appears to be related to something changed in the kernel but what?
I want to be able to keep with the progress in the kernel but if it means that I can't use my laptop on battery ... -- System freezes when running on battery https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/662998 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-ati in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
