Status: Open => Answered
actionparsnip proposed the following answer:
Ok lets do this without the retarded gui getting in the way
open a terminal, lets do this the manly way:
sudo apt-get install update-manager-core
sudo nano /etc/update-manager/release-upgrades
Find the line:
Prompt=lts
change it to
Prompt=normal
Press CTRL+X to exit, press Y, then press ENTER
You have now saved the new file.
now run:
sudo do-release-upgrade
