Question #77367 on Ubuntu changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/77367
Tom posted a new comment: Well most of us keep a working dual-boot into Windows and it definitely helps to be able to pop back into Windows until you've learned how to do everything in Ubuntu. There are some differences between the major distros but mostly what you learn in Ubuntu is valid for most other distros too - and even for other *nix platforms such as unix itself lol. You'll be amazed how quickly and easily you learn linux ways. A lot of the challenge is getting used to the culture shift but you seem to engage with the community very well already so that just leaves the techi stuff ;) Thanks & good luck :) Regards from Tom :) -- You received this question notification because you are a member of UF Unanswered Posts Team, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
