Hi Greg,attached patch applied to uclinux-dist-20080808 release(with 20090302 patch applied).
CACHE_ENABLE is defined to "nop" if CONFIG_UCBOOTLOADER is defined. The cache setting is defined in the bootloader in this case. Also I would like to point out that at least the cache setting is not quite correct if RAM size is not 16M for CONFIG_M527x. I did not check other CACHE_ENABLE macro definitions but I doubt they are correct.
