Yup, you should be able to run the builds from your laptop. I beleive
Jesse or Cory started a wiki page with some notes regarding the
builds. I can jot down the instructions there.
That woudl be great Justin, the page is here:
http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/UDIG/SDK+Export+Procedure
Right now all it contains is questions.
With respect to running the builds from my laptop - is this a linux only
afair? Or will some alignment of perl see me right. This is a blocker
as it prevents us from working on uDig right now (good thing we have
other stuff to do).

It seems I am painted into a corner over here - I need to use svn
checkout (so I can grab just small deltas and stay abreast of current
developements. But some of the machines are not going to be much fun
if we have to build both udig and additional plugins ontop of them.
Is there a way I can make an SDK release based on my svn checkout, I
understand our nightly builds performs some magic to accomplish
this. I am willing to do the build on linux if that will help.
