svn sw http://gtsvn.refractions.net/udig/trunk
in your check out directory.
You will only want to this if you have a checkout already. It sounds
like you are trying to checkout from scratch, so you probably want to do:
svn co http://gtsvn.refractions.net/udig/trunk

You don't need a username/password to get the code, only to commit
to it. Simply issue the command
svn co http://svn.geotools.org/udig/trunk/
to get the current development source.
