or you can run svn sw http://gtsvn.refractions.net/udig/trunk
in your check out directory.

You will only want to this if you have a checkout already. It sounds like you are trying to checkout from scratch, so you probably want to do:
svn co http://gtsvn.refractions.net/udig/trunk

Cheers

Richard

gtsvn.refractions.net is an alias for svn.geotools.net

Hi!
I have tried several times myself to get the source code as I thought it would help me learn the API and write my plugin code more quickly to see actual code.
But when I run that line I get the following error:
svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/udig/trunk' svn: PROPFIND of '/udig/trunk': Could not resolve hostname `svn.geotools.org': T he requested name is valid and was found in the database, but it does not have t
he correct associated data being resolved for. (http://svn.geotools.org)
Is this a problem to do with me being on the Open University network?
Do I need to ask IT to do something with firewalls or ports?
Thanks Michelle

You don't need a username/password to get the code, only to commit
to it. Simply issue the command

svn co http://svn.geotools.org/udig/trunk/

to get the current development source.
