Once you have these it is really easy:

Thank you so much, Jesse.
The version I'm currently using it's quite old (revision 17733 I think - should be 1.1M4).
Is this the reason I can't find a ShpPlugin?
I would prefer to update the UDIG plugins in the next months since the most times I did an upgrade in the past I had to work a lot for having all the pieces running again together.
I planned a complete upgrade in september, when most part of the bugs in my application should be fixed.
For me, now, in the meantime, would be enough to understand where the indexed shape files are used in the code so I can disable that feature. It should be enough to know which plugin I have to investigate.
