Someone can tell me why I can't stop the indexing of shapefiles?
I tried both programmatically and using the preferences wizard, as Jesse
suggested, but it doesn't work.

I think this will stop the creation of the FIX and QIX files that are
causing errors when I add programmatically features to the shape files:
the new features (points) are no visible. When I delete the FIX and QIX
files I can see the new points.
