Hi

Sorry for not being more explicit. The extension point is actually part of MapInterceptor. net.refractions.udig.project.mapInterceptor. This extension point allows you to add code that is ran
1.  When a map is opened
2.  When a layer is added or removed
3.  When a map is created.

In order to display a sequence of layers create a map and open the map. There are instructions in the Developers FAQ:

i reed the help on extention points, and looked for the extention point jesse mentions but i couldnt find it...

and i have another cuestion ...do i have to create a renderer in the run method of my MyActionTool to be able to dislpay a secuence of layers??

sorry if my cuestion is silly, im just begining to understand...
