Just stumbled upon your udig project, very nice. Was trying to import some geotiff files, and I could not load them. Have been searching around and have seen that there is a bug commited on this subject. Also on compatibilty page there is short word about it, discouriging the use of same. And also have read the part Now my question is will geotiff files be supported in upcoming version(s) of udig sdk? If, when will that be, approximately? I am starting work on a new project and got tiles of geotiffs. So I have to work with them, using them as a background layer, projecting shapes on them. I am in a phase where I have to decide what to use to build my application (investigation), so geotiff support is a big factor in my decision, unless I can convert them into something readable to udig (don't know).
