Hello,

I am trying to access an ArcSDE repository with uDIG, but don't see the option in the import data wizard. I've tried to access the configuration in Windows --> Preferences --> Catalog --> ArcSDE but I get the following exception within a dialog:

"the plugin net.refractions.udig.catalog.arcsde could not load class net.refractions.udig.catalog.internal.arcsde.ui.ArcSDEPreferences" (tr anslated from spanish, syntax might vary a little)

Any ideas?.

Do I have to put the SDE jars in a specific directory?.

Hi because oracle is a proprietary system we can't package the driver with uDig. You have to download the driver from the oracle website and using that wizard, install the driver into uDig. Then you should be able to connect to oracle. The oracle webpage is:

http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/java/sqlj_jdbc/ index.html
