Here are some instructions:
1, Go to c:\Program Files\udig\1.1.RC10a\eclipse\plugins
2. Copy the jar in the zip file to that directory
3. Unzip the jar into a folder
net.refractions.udig.catalog.arcsde_1.0.0
Then restart udig. This will work.

Hi, I've found that there was an export problem with the ArcSDE
plugin. I've fixed the problems so it won't happen for the next
release. But for now here's the plugin.
<arcsdeplugin.zip>
I'll also check that it works.

uDIG 1.1RC10a (just downloaded it today).
I see that I can provide Oracle and DB2 drivers, dialog appears in
red with driver's name. But when trying to acces ArcSDE option, I
get the error I described in previous message.

Hello,
I am trying to access an ArcSDE repository with uDIG, but don't
see the option in the import data wizard. I've tried to access
the configuration in Windows --> Preferences --> Catalog -->
ArcSDE but I get the following exception within a dialog:
"the plugin net.refractions.udig.catalog.arcsde could not load
class
net.refractions.udig.catalog.internal.arcsde.ui.ArcSDEPreferences" (
translated from spanish, syntax might vary a little)
Any ideas?.
Do I have to put the SDE jars in a specific directory?.

Hi because oracle is a proprietary system we can't package the
driver with uDig. You have to download the driver from the
oracle website and using that wizard, install the driver into
uDig. Then you should be able to connect to oracle. The oracle
webpage is:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/java/sqlj_jdbc/
index.html
