I am furious so I'm not going to say much. All the builds are broken. I'm stuck just when I need to brain dump so I can't really go work on something else. uDig needs some brand spanking new geotools class gt2-hsql...2.4-SNAPSHOT. Geotools no longer tolerates maven 2.0.4 and the others don't work.
This is so sloppy that it makes me wonder about the whole effort. Who lets uDig accumulate piles of undocumented crud? Who decides to upgrade the core geotools build mechanism without branching/releasing or protecting users in some way? How could the uDig build system be so fragile that it breaks even without any local changes? Don't reply to this. I don't care. The damage has been done.
