I did send an email that we were breaking uDig trunk to synchronize
it with 1.1.x so you shouldn't have been surprised there. It should
be cleaned up today. WRT documentation, well I accept the criticism
I am often more focussed on development and less on docs. Which is
why I am collecting many code examples in the repository.

All the builds are broken. I'm stuck just when I need to brain dump
so I
can't really go work on something else. uDig needs some brand spanking
new geotools class gt2-hsql...2.4-SNAPSHOT. Geotools no longer
tolerates
maven 2.0.4 and the others don't work.
This is so sloppy that it makes me wonder about the whole effort. Who
lets uDig accumulate piles of undocumented crud? Who decides to
upgrade
the core geotools build mechanism without branching/releasing or
protecting users in some way? How could the uDig build system be so
fragile that it breaks even without any local changes?
Don't reply to this. I don't care. The damage has been done. I'm going
to cool off somewhere else.
