Andrea. Like I said I was forced to spend around 3 days trying to fix
the build for a number of reasons. I am not at all surprised if there
is a version problem or something. Here's an idea. Get the August 18
udig. Add the jgrass tools. Then shut it down. Open eclipse and set
the uDig to be the target platform. Open the Run dialog. Add all
plugins and hit the validate button. see what is missing.

Sounds like it has dependencies that are not satisfied. Try

Did already, but no info about it.
Has some plugin been removed from udig between July and August
version?
The July version, clean and new unzipped, works.

It doesn't find classes of org.eclipse.core.resources, which is
one of
the packages we add.
The jar is there, but it is not able to load it.
No idea why.

There was a severe breakage in the build between the two date.
They

built on the same computer with the same java 1.5 though.
What class is missing?
Not really a class missing, just some plugins we add not
working. The
exaclty same ones work on the July release.
Is it possible that the versions before, at least those for
windows
were built with the 1.6?
Did some of the other contributors (Mauricio & Axios) try out on
the
August release?

I confirm this,
installing JGrass in the udig version of 23th of July
everything works
properly.
From eclipse and sdk everything works also for the August
version.
What has changed between these two releases?

Hi Jesse,

There

I just would ask you if the release is built with the Java
1.5 or
1.6?
Thanks for help
