Well if the set of supported units is indeed the set defined by JSR-275 I am
fine with this. In the worst case I can write the same hardcoded list into my
widget model. I just need to be on par with GeoTools.

P.P.S. Sorry for posting the original question on uDig list accidentally. It
was meant for GT list.
I have been following your conversation on that email list; I would like
to see a method added to the CRS class so we can get access to what
apparently is a hard coded list. In general I do not want developers to
have to run out to the individual factories as part of their day to day use.
I will join the discussion and see what can be done.
