Levi can you send me your JIRA ID and I will try and add you to the uDig 
project issue tracker.

You need to make a confluence ID; and then go through CodeHaus single sign on 
thing - xircles to join the uDig project.

You can create a circles id; and attach your Jira ID to it; this is the same 
procedure needed for GeoTools / GeoServer etc...
